Being able to be outrageously creative is our favourite part of the branding process, but what happens when there are a multitude of key partners to represent? The biggest challenge when it came to Atlas Global Health’s branding was designing a custom logo that would take into account the goals of all its different stakeholders. To do that, we needed to figure out a one-size-fits-all approach, so we started with the basics: perception.
We consulted all of their stakeholders—doctors, healthcare practitioners, board members and patients—on their current perceptions of Atlas, and how they imagined the brand going forward. From those findings, we were able to craft a “persona” that was broadly appealing in all its elements, from colour to logo to photos and graphic elements. We took a little bit from everyone and pieced it all together to create a brand that represents all their key stakeholders.
Working with Atlas Global Health was a good exercise in how strategic thinking is an important part of the creative process too!
